Crossroads Community Farm, LLC (formerly Primrose Community Farm) is a family farm producing fresh, local, certified organic vegetables. 2013 marks our 9th season. We grow our food in the town of Cross Plains, just south of Pine Bluff. The community in our name refers both to the people who are part of growing our produce, as well as the people to whom we directly sell our vegetables in the Madison area. We have a 350 member CSA, sell at the Westside Community Farmer’s Market, and wholesale to various Madison restaurants and grocery stores. We are fortunate to farm in the fertile soils of Dane County and to have such a wonderful community that takes part in our food system. We offer a variety of CSA share options, including weekly, biweekly, and winter shares. We grow a large variety of vegetables as well as a few coveted fruits: watermelon, strawberries, and muskmelons. All CSA shares come included with a customized menu-planning service courtesy of Local Thyme. It’s also possible to pick-up fresh baked bread at the same site as your veggie share through a bread share with Honeybee Bakery.
