Bike the Barns Training Ride @ Capital Brewery

June 28, 2012 @ 5:45 PM - 9:00 PM

This year our friends at the Capital Brewery Bike Club are partnering with us to offer three training rides to get you ready for Wisconsin’s beautiful rolling hills! Training rides will conclude with family-friendly, post-ride socials at the Beer Garden in Middleton; dates are June 28, July 26 and Aug. 23.

Riders meet at the Capital Brewery Beer Garden in Middleton starting at 5 p.m. and can choose from three rides:  a 10-mile bike path ride; a 10-15 mile road ride, or a 20-25 mile road ride. The longer ride incorporates 6-8 miles of the Bike the Barns route! (“Think of it as a demi Bike the Barns,” says Kevin Apodaca, the route’s planner.) These are SAG-supported rides with maps and cue sheets provided.

All three rides depart at 5:45 p.m. Depending on which route you choose, you’ll return between 7-7:45 p.m. Afterward, hang out with your friends and family in the Beer Garden until 9 p.m.
