2011 CSA Open House

March 13, 2011 @ 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Meet Your Local Farmers

Get Locally Grown Veggies and Farm-Fresh Produce

Bring your friends and neighbors to this annual community event featuring a diverse array of CSA farms, workshops, kids’ activities, music, a raffle, and tasty samples of farm-fresh foods to showcase the many benefits of CSA.

The event’s expansion to the Monona Terrace represents the growing interest and demand for CSA shares. The Annual CSA Open House brings CSA growers serving the Madison area right to one location.

We are looking forward to the delicious fresh food from our local farmers this year!

Farm Booths

Grand Terrace, 1-4pm

Nearly 40 CSA farms will have their booths with 2011 sign-up information in the Grand Terrace overlooking Lake Monona. Meet your local farmers, find pick-up locations, learn about on-farm events, and choose your share!

Partner Shares Benefit Raffle

Raffle winners will be announced at 3:45pm.

The Madison Area CSA Coalition’s Partner Shares Program works to make sure CSA is accessible to all households. We provide financial assistance to low-income households for purchasing CSA vegetable shares. In 2010, we supported more than 125 households in receiving fresh, organic produce from endorsed farms. All proceeds from the raffle benefit the Partner Shares Program.
