The Van Hulzens are in their second year of a MOB grazing operation for stocker cattle. They successfully graze 100 stockers per acre using temporary fences and moving water with the cattle. The cattle are purchased in spring and rotated daily until sold in the fall. Speakers will include farmer Kraig Van Hulzen; Kevin Funni, NRCS district conservationist, Oskalooska; and Jess Jackson, NRCS grassland specialist.
