Blue Moon is a small diversified farm just south of Madison in the Town of Dunn. We grow over 40 different vegetables, focusing on heirloom and great-tasting varieties, and we are known for the freshness and high quality of our produce. Our CSA distribution is on the farm, where we offer a unique market-style pick-up so that you can acquaint yourself with the veggies firsthand. Pastured pork and poultry complement our production system and CSA offerings, and the pigs, chickens, and turkeys also make great hosts to your weekly farm visits!

A CSA share from Elderberry Hill Farm

My name is Eric Elderbrock and in the spring of 2011, with the help of my friends and family, I started Elderberry Hill Farm. Farming, for me, is an everyday way to show respect to the land and take care of it. But the main reason I got into farming is that I love eating and sharing great food. Growing on 3 acres in Waunakee (about 15 minutes from downtown Madison), we produce a balanced selection of vegetables and herbs, including lots of juicy tomatoes, sweet peppers, salad greens, sugar snap peas, carrots, onions, and zucchini, as well as several specialty crops such as heirloom melons, micro greens, husk cherries, and lacinato kale. We are proud of the freshness and fantastic flavor of all of our produce and can’t wait to share it with you.

Fields in Spring

By signing up for our program, you are supporting an agricultural system based on organic, sustainable methods that strives to provide a socially-just living for farmers and their farm workers. Our CSA season runs for 20 weeks, tentatively the first week of June to the middle of October. This will give you the opportunity to taste the farm’s full spectrum of seasonal flavors.

LotFotL’s home is at Quinney Farm, a beautiful 160 acre homestead in the township of Sugar Creek, just west of Elkhorn and north of Delavan. We are very excited to be here, on these rich silt loam soils, and plan to make this our home for the indefinite future.
