11 More CSA Farms join the Coalition
The Madison Area CSA Coalition is proud to welcome eleven more high-quality CSA farms into the Coalition. These new farms help diversify our coalition and expand the areas we cover in western and north-central Wisconsin. Coulee View Farm in Wauzeka is our second meat only CSA farm. They offer chickens, turkeys, ducks, hogs, lambs, and eggs through their CSA. Stoney Acres Farm in Athens is a third generation family farm near Wausau that produces vegetables, fruit and herbs; maple syrup; and grass-fed beef, pork, chickens, and eggs. They also host amazing farm events during the year that attract hundreds of people to their farm and help raise the profile of CSA in their region. Their September farm event features a pumpkin pick, hayrides, cider pressing, wood-fired pizza, and a variety of squash pies. Drumlin Community Farm in Fitchburg joined our coalition this year and is our first cooperative CSA farm. They work with at-risk youth to supply organic vegetables to an under-served area in south Madison and in Fitchburg. Together, our eleven new farms bring decades of farming experience and wisdom to our community of growers.
With their participation in the Coalition, we will continue to build a community of healthy eaters and farmers. You can learn about all of the CSA Coalition endorsed CSA farms on our farm list page.

Remember to come and meet them at the Annual CSA Open House on Sunday, March 13th at Monona Terrace.
