CSA Open House, March 10

Meet your farmer!

Come out to Monona Terrace from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, to meet FairShare’s CSA farmers at the 21st Annual CSA Open House.

Meet CSA growers serving the Madison area, talk with local farmers, find pick-up locations, learn about on-farm events, and choose your share! Meat, veggies and more!

Attend free workshops and learn  how to best use your share and choose the right farm for your family. Children’s activities, a raffle to benefit Partner Shares, which helps low-income families to join farms, and recipe samples!

Approximately 1,000 people typically attend this annual event. It’s free and open to all.

Natural Parenting Expo same day, same location

The Natural Parenting Expo will be happening downstairs at the Terrace the same day, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and includes presentations for parents and fun activities for kids. From trapeze artists to salsa dancers to learning how to create a safe and environmentally friendly home and what to pack in your child’s lunchbox, and way more, there will be something for parents and children of all ages.  (Learn more about the Expo,  here.)
