Small Family Farm CSA

Established in 2006, we have been breathing life backing into the endangered Small Family Farm for 13 years. As a Certified Organic Vegetable farm the CSA model has always been our primary focus on our farm.
Our Weekly Dig Newsletters with stories, pictures and favorite recipes from the farm comes with your CSA box. We like to use our Newsletters as a way to enrich the CSA experience for our members and for them to feel like they are part of our family and to intimately experience the growing season. Visit the farm during one of Farm Events. We offer a Spring Strawberry Pick and Potluck, an Annual Farm to Table Dinner on the farm in mid August and also a free Fall Raspberry and Pumpkin Pick n’ Potluck with beer from Turtle Stack Brewery.
We deliver CSA Shares every Wednesday to Madison, Sun Prairie, Verona, Middleton, Platteville, Lancaster, Dubuque, La Crosse, West Salem, Holmen, Tomah, Sparta, Viroqua, Onalaska, La Farge and more!
We grow delicious sweet corn, melons, carrots, garlic and so much more! We offer:
-Weekly and Bi Weekly Summer Share Options from June-Oct over a 20-Week period
-Fall Share and Thanksgiving Share Options
-Coffee Shares
-Weekly and Bi-Weekly Egg Shares
-Apple Shares
-Honey
-Maple Syrup
The Small Family Farm has a thriving Worker Share program for people who live in close proximity of our farm near La Farge, WI. We also employ a handful of paid employees. We farm 10 acres of vegetables on a 21 acre ridge-top farm in southwest Wisconsin.
