FairShare’s 25th Annual CSA Open House is scheduled for noon-4 p.m. Sunday, March 12 at Monona Terrace, 1 John Nolen Drive in Madison [map]. More than 30 farmers who deliver shares to the greater Madison area will be in attendance to answer your questions and share information about their farms.

Open House attendees can view a food demo every 15 minutes, including “Veggie Skills 101”, “Using Unique Vegetables”, and “One Vegetable, Many Variations”, by Singing Bowl Chef. This event is also the same day as the Natural Family Expo, held downstairs at Monona Terrace.
Watch for FairShare’s 2017 CSA Farm Guide in the Isthmus on Thursday, March 2, or read it online, here. It lists FairShare-endorsed farms across Southern Wisconsin and includes farm descriptions, a share chart, share types, and pick-up locations, plus infographics on how to select a farm that’s a good fit. To get started on your farm search online, see the Full Farm List, perform a Custom Farm Search, and play with the Pick-Up Locations Map.
