How to Volunteer for Bike the Barns

BTBVolunteer-01 (3)Join the energy and fun of Bike the Barns by providing volunteer services to more than 550 smiling cyclists!

Volunteer at a farm or a park along the route. Serve food, direct bikers, answer questions, help with bike parking, flag riders near stops, etc. You could drive a SAG vehicle with a professional mechanic or volunteer at the After Party and help serve food and sell merchandise. There are lots of roles and options!

Volunteer the week before the ride in Madison, or the day of the event, Sunday, Sept. 20 in the Ft. Atkinson area (about 30 miles east of Madison). You can volunteer at Registration or the After Party, along the route, or at farm stop. Minimum shifts are 3 hours; volunteer all day if you’d like!

Volunteer Benefits:

  • Volunteers eat for free at the site where they volunteer
  • Volunteers may purchase a Bike the Barns T-shirt at cost
  • Volunteers are invited to the Bike the Barns Appreciation Party, held on the east side of Madison on Thursday, Oct. 1
