In 2001, Claire Strader cleared 200 honeysuckle bushes and mulberry trees making way for a few tomatoes, winter squashes, and potatoes. The following year Troy Community Farm began. Their CSA membership grew as ravenously as their original honeysuckle bushes, increasing from 14 members to 160 shares in eight years.
