Hoop House Production Workshop – April 14 Join veteran CSA farmers Barb and David Perkins and tour hoop houses at their peak of early season production.  They will talk about hoop house structures, planting plans, planting and transplanting, caring for the plants, harvest, irrigation, ventilation, special needs of hoop grown crops, trellising and lots more.  Vermont Valley Community Farm will produce hoop house crops for 250 Spring CSA shares this year. CSA Open House – A Success! 19th Annual CSA Open House! A special thanks our sponsors, Organic Valley, Wisconsin Public Radio, The Isthmus, The Willy St. Co-op, GHC-SCW, and Physicians Plus, as well as all of our farmers, volunteers, the entertainment, and community members that came out to make this year's Open House another success! Nearly 2000 community members came to meet their farmers, learn about CSA, and sign up for a 2011 share.  If you couldn't make it, there's still time to sign up for a 2011 CSA share.  Peruse the website to narrow your search to find the right farm for you.
