Free to the public, attendees can learn more about FairShare and Community Supported Agriculture!

Approximately 30 CSA farms will have information, smiles and 2017 sign-up information. Meet your local farmers, ask about their operations, find pick-up locations, learn about on-farm events, and choose your share. Veggies, Meat, Eggs and more! All the action is on the Main Floor of Monona Terrace (Level Four).

Sign-up at the Open House for your CSA share; also, farmers and local food producers will be sampling and selling their products (see below).

Learn how to make the most of your CSA experience at free cooking demonstrations throughout the event, and visit the children’s crafts area.

The Natural Family Expo takes place downstairs on the same day, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Madison St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. on the Capitol Square.

This Year:

  • Look for the CSA Farm Guide in the Isthmus from  March 2-10  for detailed farm information including location, acreage, share types, add-on products, pick-up location areas, and more. The CSA Guide will help you prepare your questions for the  farmers at the CSA Open House! You may also download the guide as a PDF.
  • Learn about CSA options and sample products.

Parking & Metro Transit

You may park at Monona Terrace all day on Sundays for $5. Want to park for free? View the Map of Madison’s Downtown City-Operated Parking. For a list of bus routes and schedules, visit the City of Madison’s Metro Transit website.

Inside Monona Terrace

Farmer booths will be set up in Ballrooms A, B, C and D on the fourth floor, also known as the Main Floor. Find CSA presentations in Hall G, immediately across from the ballroom entrance.

Information Station

Need help choosing a farm? Wondering which farms deliver near your home or work? Have questions about Partner Shares, Bike the Barns, or CSA health insurance rebates? Visit the friendly volunteers at the Information Stations inside the ballroom for assistance.
