Intern with FairShare
Spring 2014 Internships Now Available!
As a FairShare CSA Coalition intern, you will become immersed in the local food movement in one of the most cutting edge communities in the country. FairShare’s Community & Grower Programs focus on consumer and farmer outreach and education, building awareness of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), ensuring that CSA is accessible to all households and strengthening the community of family farmers in Southern Wisconsin.
FairShare CSA Coalition has up to three volunteer internship positions available for the Spring 2014 semester. As a FairShare intern you will assist in outreach campaigns, administrative tasks, workshop coordination, resource development and research, and fundraising events. Through this internship program you are encouraged to attend relevant conferences, workshops, and meetings for increased awareness and networking opportunities. You will gain valuable community organizing experience and contribute to critical programs that work to build the strength and vitality of our local farms and to increase access to good, healthy food.
FairShare’s Internship positions are 5-10 hours/week (a detailed schedule will be determined at the time of hire) and open to students and community members able to commit to a regular schedule for a minimum of 4 months. FairShare Internships are volunteer positions, though course credit may be available to qualified students.
Spring Application Deadline: Friday, January 31, 2014 or until the positions are filled.
