Little Society Farm

Little Society Farm is a small (soon to be certified) organic farm focused on growing some of the most ecologically sustainable and healthy food that is economically feasible.
For us, ecologically sustainable not only includes reducing food miles by serving our local communities, but also includes things like very little soil disturbance (no-till), no direct fossil-fuel use with our vegetable production (hand tools), significantly less plastic use than many organic vegetable farms, and appropriate numbers of animals integrated into the system for fertility and food waste reduction.
Healthy food for us starts with a baseline of organic practices and extends to seeking flavorful and nutritious vegetable varieties, trying to steward a healthy, diverse, microbiologically rich soil food web and wider ecosystem, and processing and delivering our produce quickly after harvest (often within 24 hours).
We love having a CSA and connecting with other folks who want to engage and support a more just and resilient food system. We offer a “preferred veggie system” that allows members to rate each veggie so we can pack a customized share for you each week!
