Rooted - Troy Farm

Troy Farm is a program of the non-profit Rooted whose mission is to grow a community-led, sustainable food system through urban agriculture education, food production, and land access. Troy Farm manifests that mission by offering:

• Produce for low-income communities on the Northside of Madison through the Purpose Grown Project

• Land access and support to beginning and BIPOC farmers and community organizations through the Troy Farm Collaborative

• Community events like Pizza Nights and the annual Plant Sale

• Fresh Organic Produce through our CSA

Troy Farm is one of the oldest urban farms in Madison and it has been offering certified organic CSA shares since 2001. Troy Farm Members pick up produce at the farm stand located on a beautiful 26 acre property on the Northside of Madison and have easy access to our U-pick herb, flower, and veggie garden, community events (including Pizza nights), and the larger property which includes walking trails, a restored prairie, and forested areas.
