FairShare is collaborating with a multitude of community partners, farms, and musicians in order to create an engaging experience for people of all ages and abilities.

Food. Isn't that what this is all about? Each tour will come with recommendations of food providers that source locally, instructions on specific pickup details, and recommendations for some grab and go meals to bring on the route.
Madison Walk: Eagle Heights and Picnic Point

A short walk that will check off all the buckets; gorgeous wooded trails through the Lakeshore Nature preserve, open prairie, and an abundance of inspirational community gardens. Hear from community members heading the COVID-19 Mutual Aid Gardens, along with the Black Diasporic Cropping Trial Gardens, learn about bat conservation and more.
Note: Portions of this route go over uneven terrain and through high grass. Please ensure that you are adequately prepared.

Starting in Evansville, riders can expect a laid back route on pretty, low traffic, rural roads. With relatively few cues to keep track of, riders can sit back and focus on the important stuff; like expansive countryside views.

This tour begins in the beautiful Lake Ripley Area, and takes you through rolling hills, past lakes and streams, and various historical markers. Learn about the changes to the landscape, and vestiges of old settlements and trades. The route will highlight FairShare farms: Wholesome Harvest, and Sprouting Acres. If you embark on the 1st or 3rd Saturday of the month, you will have the opportunity to treat yourself to some farm-fresh pizza at Sprouting Acres. As you end your route enjoy lake views at Ripley Park, and activities such as disc golf and tennis.

Rolling hills sprinkled throughout this route will make you work hard, if cycling, but meandering country roads, picturesque barns, natural areas, and countless scenic vistas will reward you for your efforts. This route features a number of FairShare farms: Blue Moon Community Farm, Lovefood Farm, and Sprouting Acres. Time it with Sprouting Acres' pizza night on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, or wrap up the route with a bite to eat in charming McFarland main street.
Note: this route requires occasional biking along busy roads.
